What a Festival! It’s hard to believe that Sounds of Lyons 2011 has come and gone already. Fortunately, this year we have some amazing video of all the concerts. You will be able to watch each segment in its entirety, as we get them put up on Youtube over the next couple of weeks. Right now there are three videos up from the Friday night concert. If you want to watch in order, they are numbered starting with “1″. Check out our Youtube channel and keep checking back for new updates.

Here are two of the five members of the Thyme Quintet playing with an amazing guitarist from Quebec on the grounds of Planet Bluegrass back in April. For those of you who haven’t heard or seen Nyckelharpa before, I’m sure you will be enchanted. Come hear them play on Friday night at Rogers Hall in the “Confluence: Art of the Fugue” concert.

Over the winter the Sage Quartet, along with student performers Eva Oakes and Gaelan Moore, had six performances at area schools. They were tremendously well-received, and this is a short video of the week produced by Descant Productions.
